Buzzmart has a set of rules that govern our users' buying and selling activity.

1. Listings with auction (bid) feature

1.1) User's place bids on the auction using our provided input field. When the auction closes the highest bidder wins the auction listing.

1.2) Bidding follows a bid increment table:

1.3) All bids are made in the seller's prefered currency but conversion rates are shown (if applicable).

1.4) Users can not place bids below the starting price or below the current bid.

1.5) False (shill) bidding is prohibitted.

1.6) A seller can end the listing (with or without bids) before the end time. If the seller decides to proceed with closing the auction, the current highest bidder is the winner of the listing.

1.7)  Listings with bidding facility cannot have a quantity above 1.

1.8) Listing with bidding facility cannot have an infinite duration

2 Listings with auction and Buy Now feature

2.1) Point 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 and 1.8 apply.

2.2) Users that place a bid which is the same or above the Buy now price wins the listing and the listing changes status to closed

2.3) if a user uses the Buy now feature he/she wins the product at the fixed price and the auction closes

3 Listings with auction and offer range feature

3.1) Point 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7

3.2) Seller defines an offer range and users can only place bids within that offer range limit.

3.3) If a user bids the maximum value of the offer range he is automatically the winner of the auction listing.

4 Listings with auction and reserve price feature

4.1) Point 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7 apply

4.2) Only when bidders bid above the reserve price can the auction be won.

4.3) If the auction listing closes and the reserve price is not met (bids above the reserve price value), then the listing is unsold.

4.4) The reserve price is not visible to buyers. if it is not met a text prompt in red will be displayed next to the current bid. If the reserve price is met then the red text prompt will not be visible.

4.5) The reserve price can be edited by the seller at any time during the listing duration.

5 Listings with auction, reserve price and buy now features

5.1) Point 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7,  2.2, 2.3, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5  apply.

5.2) Seller can put the reserve price above the buy now price.

6 Listings with auction, reserve price and offer range features

6.1) Point 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 3.2, 3.3, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5 apply.

6.2) Reserve price can not be above the maximum offer range.

7 Listings with Buy now feature

7.1) No bidding facility is available.

7.2) Quantity can be more than 1.

7.3) Buyers can purchase more than 1 unit of the same listing.

7.4) If the quantity reaches 0 before the end time then the listing closes.

7.4) Duration can be set to infinite.
